Frequently asked questions. Before we connect let me answer some questions you may have!
Q: We don’t know how to pose, will you help us to stay “stay there and look “natural””?
A: Yes, I will not leave you lost and thinking what to do to look your best! I will give you detailed instructions about your posture, angles, hands, faces, even fingers! Each detail might add to the great photo if done correctly or take from it if done wrong. It is my job, knowledge and experience to make it look elegant!
Q: How important family portraits for you - we have seen some of those done very fast and not really organized so looking awkward sometimes.
A: There have been some very difficult times in my life that taught me something - family first! There is nothing else more important than family! I will treat family photos same as yours- everyone will be helped to look their best with detail explanation.
Q: What exactly do I get with package? Is there any hidden fee to download photos etc? Are they in high resolution? All edited? No watermark etc?
A: There is no any extra charge, you will get a link to the gallery where you can download all photos, single photos, share with friends and family, all edited to my style in high resolution and no watermarks. You also will be able to order prints or wall art from the gallery if you desire.
Q: I need something in between that is not your wedding package, can we work it out?
A: Sure, we can work on customizing package depending on your needs!
Q: Do I need second photographer?
A: If you are getting ready in different locations, want someone to capture your guests having fun at cocktail hour when we doing portraits and want some extra different angle photos - yes.
Q: Do you recommend to do a “First Look” before the ceremony? Why?
A: If you in doubt- I always for “First Look”! It not only will give us a lot of extra awesome pictures, but will remove a stress from you- a lot of brides told me they felt much more confident walking down the isle after seeing each other, also it will give us some extra time since we will be able to do bridal party and/or family photos before the ceremony, leaving more time for your photos after and allow you to join everyone for cocktail hour!
Q: We are getting married outside of Connecticut but want to hire you, is there a travel fee?
A: I often shoot weddings in MA, NH, NY, Main - there is no travel fees to those states, if I have to go further - there will be flight/hotel fees added.
Q: Looks like you are the photographer we were looking for! What is the next step?
A: Using contact form send me a message with the date to make sure I’m available, include your phone number (sometimes people do mistake in email address and I simply cant reply) , and I’ll get back to you in 24hrs, we can schedule a phone or video chat, if you in 50 miles range we can meet in person for some coffee, having a more detailed conversation about your wedding, and if you feel that Im the one you looking for - I will send you a contract to look at and invoice for retainer (30%) and when it signed and paid - we all set! After that we will have few more conversations about details and Ill see you at your wedding!
